Popped into here for a quick hit of the dark stuff. A very artsy style cafe with modest amount of seating indoors and outside in the little courtyard area. Coffee is served in handmade clay cups which is where the cafe gets its name. The coffee is really well executed. The food selection is limited so it’s more of a cuppa with friends than a lunch destination. Overall a nice vibe and a quiet place off the main road.

Clay Coffee Collective CLAY Coffee Collective is aptly named, for the cafe showcases a range of ceramics stacked up high as decor and each coffee ordered is served is a ceramic cup. We hear that the clay is care of Brigita Hammel, an Australian artist. The cafe can be found in a narrow alley of the main strip of shops in Gerringong. A small cafe with a few seats inside, we find the atmosphere a little dark and dim, so could be lit up a bit. They use Delano Specialty coffee, and on this occasion was the Maverick Blend, a good combination of acidity and sweet. Certainly best coffee in Gerringong. There’s milk based, filter, black and cold options. Not much in the way of food, just toast, granola and toasties

Impressive little cafe hidden in an walkway/alleyway. Clay offerings are very impressive. Some very stunning cups to please almost anyone. Coffee was spot on. Had an espresso, batch and cold brew. Staff were very friendly and helpful All in all, very impressive spot that I would frequent when in the area.

Cutest little coffee corner! My partner and I love coming here for their beautiful mugs (sometimes ordering more than one just to get different designs!). Our favourite is their macadamia dirty chai, and they always have pretty flowers on their outdoor tables. Lovely spot to spend your morning. Highly recommend.

Clay Coffee is such a cute hidden gem! Coffee is delicious! We ordered the mushroom balsamic sourdough and the beef and beet toastie, both were very yummy! 100% recommend dropping by if you are in the area!

Quaint quirky little place, full of cute pottery pieces. I had one of the best cups of coffee I have had this year. The staff in there are friendly and pleasant. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great coffee in the area. It is always consistent. This place deserves every star they get. They have earned it. Keep up the good work. See you again soon. We will be back.
